Vans Curren x Knost Delridge SF
Pushing the boundaries and thinking differently is nothing new to Vans surfers Alex Knost (from Costa Mesa, California) and Lee-Ann Curren (from Biarritz, France). Whether in the water or out, they know that true self-expression means being unapologetically yourself.
In this second season of their genderless head-to-toe collection from Vans, Alex and Lee-Ann worked together to integrate new colors and materials, driving a unique approach to progression with product and inclusivity. Their “outside-the-lines” way of thinking, both on a wave and off, has come to life in the Vans X Curren X Knost Delridge SF, a new lifestyle shoe with a bit of a heavier aesthetic.
Featuring elevated plaid textile uppers inspired by 70s interiors and automotive design, this low top shoe is a perfect fit for the diverse and dynamic lives that they lead. The V-lug outsole provides durability for unpredictable terrain, while the ribbed heel and toe bumper take influences from a creeper silhouette for a familiar aesthetic with a Vans twist. To finish it off, we’ve added fresh, alternative branding on the side panel with the Triple Circle V logo for a unique new look with plenty of old school cool.
For Alex and Lee-Ann, it’s about more than creating a collection that people look good wearing—it is about feeling good when you are wearing it. • Alex Knost/Lee-Ann Curren collection
